스튜디오 허무것도 Studio Heomugeoto - Under the Sons of Death
Studio Heomugeoto will perform concertante pieces following graphic scores. These score heavily accentuate the use of negative space - being the sonic equivilant to death & the feeling of lostness. The score & negative space will be interpreted live by usage of a tape machine, contact mics, generative systems, live manipulation and sound objects, resulting in a subtle, multilayered sonic environment.
Studio Heomugeoto is an international artist group. The name derives from Korean and means as much as nothing, the ephemeral, useless. As part of the ongoing research project 'Stages of Grief' the artists focus on the sonic aspects of mourning, fear & darkness. Artistic artifacts of these investigations are presented interdisciplinary in installations, books, concerts & performances.
