Improvised electroacoustic performance by Alan Gleeson
My work is an exploration of technology as instrument through perceptual mapping and a practice based approach to improvised live performance. Source material is field recordings and electronically generated sound, transformed, taken in and out of context to derive new interpretation and expectation of the urban and rural soundscape.
Other System by Dylan Spence
As Other System, I run layered sequences in a semi-controlled modular system. The purpose is to explore rhythmic and tonal textures. Using a combination of analog and digital synthesis the sound shifts between harmonic and noise.
Alan Gleeson is a composer/sound artist based in Berlin who has been experimenting with all types of electronic sound for over 15 years. He has released various works under his own name and various aliases.
Dylan Spence is an Australian sound artist currently based in Basel, Switzerland. He is involved in various projects and collaborations focusing mainly on performed electronic sound art.
