Alphawave #12: Analytical Engine and Matias Brunacci
Doors: 19:30 / Start time: 20:00
Entrance 6-10 euro (up to your offer)
Alphawave #12 will host performance of two technologists/artists that embody aleatory, undeterminancy, casuality in their art practice: in one word: intuition and induction, instead of deduction. Isn’t intuition another, powerful, uncontrollable way to discern reality?
We’re very glad to present German physics and artist Analytical Engine and Argentinian technologist and artist Matias Brunacci.
Analytical Engine’s source material is her voice, algorithmically layered into dense ambiences and merging with sonified images inspired by her background in science. The results of her improvisations are eerie soundscapes, transforming from mesmerizing pop drone to pulsating noise.
