The new platform Art Spaces Neukölln invites you to their initiative: exhibitions, events and guided tours on 6 Saturdays in May and June 2016. At the suggestion of Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln, 18 Art Spaces joined forces for the first time and open their doors to present high-quality art in the common location of Neukölln. Visitors are invited to explore by themselves, enter into dialogue with the art space directors, gallery owners and artists or be guided to locations by artists. In 6 weeks we offer 12 free guided tours in German, 2 in English and 2 in Spanish that are segmented into 4 art quarters.

On Saturday 28 May, there will be a tour in German, starting a 16:00 from SomoS (Quartier 1), Kottbusser Damm 95, 10967 Berlin, and also pass by Spektrum.

During the last years, art spaces in Neukölln have developed a special dynamic. It represents the variety of the art scene in Berlin and comprises of communal exhibition locations, galleries, art spaces and happening-spaces. Thereby they often present the undiscovered, most are not commercially orientated and also have the courage to experiment. The locations are often as diverse as the art presented. Institutes, collectives and lone fighters are participating. The topics are also varied: traditional art forms, media art, performance, sound art and conceptual art.
