BLYPKEN "0102" : a neurowave A/V performance & release party
An extended live audiovisual performance and release party of BLYPKEN's debut release "0102", out on the Swedish label The Sublunar Society.

Simone Sims Longo NEUTRO
Neutro is an audio-video multichannel live performance aimed to investigate the concept of nothingness through sound geometries which evolve in time and space. The audiovisual work is divided in 4 sections, each part uses a different video technique. The audio is based on multi level iteration of sounds samples organized in a minimal structure; the result is a polyrhythmic texture that changes through the space. The work is live performed with Ableton and MaxMSP, composed during an artist residence at ZKM (IMA Institute for music and acoustics).

BLYPKEN is an experimental electronica sound-art project started in 2017 by Romanian producer George D. Stanciulescu, aka LeVant, also a PhD author in the field of Philosophy of Digital Music & New Media. BLYPKEN describes his music as “neurowave”. It is focused on the more futuristic dimensions of the art-house dance sound, revealing a deconstructed hybrid of techno, industrial and ambient with an atmospheric edge. The first work, “The Fetishamanic Maze”, was debuted as an audiovisual performance in May 2017, at Live Performers Meeting, held at RADION Amsterdam. Some more audiovisual shows followed in London and Waterford, Ireland, with the collaboration of video artist Andrei Cozlac. The first release on Sublunar is 0102, a suite in two parts, officially celebrated at SPEKTRUM with a special audiovisual performance and an after-party. LINKS: www.facebook.com/blypkenoise
