Camille Laurent and Stefanie Egedy - CORPORAL MECHANISM

CORPORAL MECHANISM is a performance that puts the audience with other spatial and sensorial perceptions using light impulses and low frequency sound waves. Light and sound pass through the audience's body and propose new sensitive experiences by acting directly in touch, sight and hearing. Both of them follow a sensorial score of sonorous and luminous rhythms that aim to break pre-established logics.

Together since 2016, the artists Camille Laurent and Stefanie Egedy investigate the suspension, even if it is momentarily, of the physical and mental control through the spatialisation of light and sound. With this intent, they create installations and performances that explore the use of light and sound movements.

She experiments increasingly the relationships between light and music.
