The curators of Spektrum asked us for our first 2016 show to provide a little self-analysis about what we're actually creating with our re-imagined Kino-matic situations. So in this episode, we will provide a little orientation to the XLterrestrials arts+praxis platforms and interventionist methodology.

And because we have been lumped into the transmediale/CTM Vorspiel 2016 festival, we will take the opportunity to explore the possibilities of performing on autopsy on the new Arts Industries (now mostly aligned with a technological immersion marketplace) with a rusty Debordian scalpel. Of course transmediale is one of the most non-commercial festivals around doing deep intellectual + social arts investigations ! But every year we dive into its clever themes, we cannot help but find complicit errors in the "circus tent" displays that are designed to entertain... rather than dismantle the techno-industrialisms that are ravaging the organic playgrounds of living systems by their functionalist exhibitions and their exposure-driven artists. Not without a little barbed humor, we take you by the hand into another Atrocity Exhibition, and hopefully come out the other side, with more radical community praxis directions.
