"Let me in"
Audiovisual / dance performance by Ichi Go & MyungDuk Kim

There is no past, present and future. All of it happens simultaneously here and now. What we perceive, how we perceive as it presents, is our decision. It is important to distinguish between the two concepts that we use for the word Time, which means the now moment and the number that orders at a certain interval by duration. The experience we have now It does not change according to who is experiencing it. It, is a unique experience that the generated in our minds. There is no Absolute on this. There are Infinite relative realities and space each relative to a particular point in space and time as we standing here and now. We create our time and we are moving another space constantly.

The composition describes the use of the real-time audio-visual and improvised perfomer/ performance relating to the dynamic movements. Particularly reference to the connectivity between audio and visual environment. The environment has been working with visual graphic response to sounds (use of the Fast Fourier transform-FFT allowed to transfer sounds to visuals) The performer makes a movement with musical composition and the interacting audio-visual environment.

MyungDuk Kim (1981, KyoungBuk, South Korea) creates sounds and visuals and performances.
His artworks directly respond to the surrounding environment and uses everyday experiences from the artist as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. With a conceptual approach, he tries to develop forms that do not follow logical criteria, but are based only on subjective associations and formal parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations. Recently he working on interaction sounds with the movements of humans body/or objects. By doing so, new sequences are created which reveal an inseparable relationship between motion and sound. By choosing mainly formal solutions, he tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way, likes to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work. He studied classical guitar performance and music pedagogy at Fontys Hogeschool voor de kunsten (Netherlands) and currently works and lives in Berlin.
