In this dark ambient set, LauraL works with processed sounds, guitar’s rumbles, drones, low frequencies and projections of images with references to film noir and experimental video. The consequent soundscapes dialogue with a certain nuances of the images, turning abstract images in elements of tension or a complement of the environment there formed. Darkness is Good is also about our incapacities or impossibilities - incapacities to change our social or political conditions, or even our impossibilities to live without fear. - Ememe: Electric noise set

LauraL (aka Laura Leiner) is an artist, composer, self-taught searcher of dramaturgy and researcher with a multi-disciplinary background encompassing performing arts, photography, video, physics, chemistry and communication-journalism. Laura was born in Brazil and comes from the artistic scene of Porto Alegre, where she participated along 20 years with several performances and theater projects. Since 2009 she lives in Berlin, where she has performed several solo projects as well as collaborations with others. Among others projects, which have the goal to explore public spaces, she develops a work with the concept of scenario/ambient, using videos, looped images, fotos or distorted urban sounds.
Ememe is a composer, improviser and dj from Japan. Living in Berlin since 2013. Also playing in several ensembles. In "Transport Orchestra" I play Hand wagon with contact mics. In "Blisters from the Blast" and "DNIRG" I play bass and vocals. In impro band "Amabeys", I play electronics.
