Eva Sidén - Paysage Liquid
Paysage Liquid is a multimedia work with sound and video based on recorded sounds and films from a tour and artist in residency with Sidén Hedman duo to the unique and great fantasy landscapes on Faroeislands, Island and Greenland. Mainly the material in the piece is from water, such as waves from the ocean, streams, waterfalls, steam and icebergs. Paysage Liquid, a landscape that is gradually disappearing and constantly changing in time
Mansoor Hosseini
Mansoor Hosseini, a Swedish avant-garde composer, studied composition at Paris Music Conservatory, the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels and Gothenburg Music Conservatory. He also studied film music at Gothenburg University and script writing at Gothenburg film University. Mansoor is fascinated by the relationship between acoustic and electronic, and how to treat it with moving images. Hosseini was awarded prizes and scholarships such from Swedish Arts Council, Nordic Culture Point, Gothenburg City Culture prize, the West Region Culture Prize, Swedish Composer’s Association and more.
Eva Sidén, Sweden, is a composer and a pianist with an international career. Mainly she works with electroacoustic compositions for instruments, ensembles or special chambermusic setups with pieces that combines the instruments with electronics, as well as solo works for electroaccoustics/EAM in multichannel spatialisation. She also creates multimedia works, conceptual concert and sound installations to museums and artgallerys. She performs at concert houses, festivals and culture houses around the world. Eva Sidén frequently collaborates with other artists and artforms; visual arts, dance, theater, text and room/architecture and has made several commissioned pieces and concerts combining her music with scenography and acting/performance. She is one of the members of Sidén Hedman duo. Eva Sidén studied Base school for art education, later piano and composition at Music-conservatorys in Prag, Brno, Paris and Stockholm furthermore at IRCAM , Paris, and aesthetic philosophy, art and musicology at Stockholm University.
