in.between is an electro-acoustic collaboration project based on improvisation.
everything begins with a couple of acoustic sounds ;
once sample the improvisation begins with live transformation and sequencing ;
with an open and audible process the collected sounds take shape and carry the listener into a particular soundscape.

M4T
is an electronic producer and sound artist, based in Italy. His music embraces different genres, ranging from ambient to IDM and techno, mantaining as a common denominator the minimal structure and the accurate research about the atmospheres and the textures, often created by field recordings from natural environments. During the last years he focused his work on the study of visual programming softwares, like Max/MSP and Pure Data, with the aim of creating his personal and unique language. M4T realized lots of releases for netlabels of the ambient and IDM scene, and collaborated with many visual artists on advertisings, A/V performances and site specific installations.

The "Urban landscapes" of M4T are glimpses, snapshots of a city lived interiorly, subtracted to the frenzy of life. A sequence of “places” that hide expectations, fears, personal emotional journeys. During this narration geometrical shapes, industrial and alienating sceneries, alternate with more peaceful atmospheres, almost oneiric, that remind more human urban contexts, made of relations and sense of community. The music is a mix of electronics, field recordings and metal instruments, recorded by contact microphones.
