Event featuring film, live-performance and contributions on the TrIQ-Projekt “Trans*Visible”. All films have German (and sometimes English) subtitles; during the live performance and moderation interpretation is provided in German sign language.
Abendveranstaltung mit Film, Live-Performance und Beiträgen zum TrIQ-Projekt “Trans*Visible”. Alle Filme haben deutsche und englische Untertitel und während der Live-Performance und Moderation wird in der deutschen Gebärdensprache gedolmetscht.
In 2017-2018, five trans * inter * queer filmmakers in three teams produced a feature film, four animated films and a documentary with stories that are, like us: complex, genuine and heartfelt!
This evening, we're celebrating the movie premiere of The Way of the Heart: Four Seasons by Zara Zandieh and Katinka Kraft, Floating Questions by BlackTrans * Rebel & Ed, and X-Queers by Kai-Boom !. From autobiographical stories that jump across the canvas as superheros to pictorial reflection on queer communities, it becomes inspiring, reflective and joyful.
In 2015 and 2016, Gender Sender offered a series of multimedia workshops on animation, spoken word, film, performance and more for trans * inter * queer people. We produced more than 30 short films in these years that tell and explore new stories about gender, sexuality and the intersection of identities. A selection of these films is also shown.

In 2017-2018 produzierten fünf trans*inter*queere Filmemacher_innen in drei Teams einen Spielfilm, vier Animationsfilme und einen Dokumentarfilm mit Geschichten, die sind, wie wir: Komplex, echt und von Herzen sprechend!
An diesem Abend feiern wir die Filmpremiere von The Way of the Heart: in Four Seasons von Zara Zandieh und Katinka Kraft, Floating Questions von BlackTrans*Rebel & Ed, und X-Queers von Kai-Boom!. Von autobiografischen Geschichten, die als Superheros über die Leinwand springen, bis zur bildhaften Reflektion über queere Communities, es wird inspirierend, reflektiv und frohlich.
In den Jahren 2015 und 2016 bot der Gender Sender eine Reihe von Multimedia Workshops zur Trickfilm, Spoken Word, Film, Performance und mehr für trans*inter*queere Menschen an. Wir produzierten in diesen Jahren über 30 Kurzfilme, die neue Geschichten über Gender, Sexualität und die Überschneidung von Identitäten erzählen und erkunden. Eine Auswahl dieser Filme wird auch gezeigt.
