GRAT is the collaboration between Kai Niggemann and Henning Pertiet. Their music feels like the soundtrack to a lucid dream. It’s a jiggy pop jive from a parallel dimension. It’s an experiment that rips you out of your seat and throws you into the middle of the dance floor. GRAT draws from a long musical tradition and from the two musicians’ meandering careers through electronic, jazz, blues, noise, industrial and scores for film and theater.

GRAT features both artists on the Buchla 200e Electric Music Box, a unique and rare electronic instrument that created a paradigm shift for electronic music when it (and its predecessors) hit the limelight.
