Petra (Kristina Warren) is a sound artist, improviser, and critical maker based in Providence [US]. She builds and performs with unique analog and digital audiovisual systems and voice, exploring individual and collective acts of listening and making noise. Her experiences with diverse institutions and communities have led her to foreground questions of instrumentality, gesture, and access. Her approach to sound is inclusive and patient, unexpected and unfamiliar, an attempt to let sound speak for itself. Recent collaborators include Amy Brandon (guitar), Kwaku Kwaakye Martin Obeng (African drums), Rachel Devorah (horn), and Theresa Wong (cello, voice). Eliad Wagner (b. 1979, Israel) is a composer, performer, sound artist and lecturer. Holding academic degrees in physics and music, his activities explore the meeting point of composition and improvisation while addressing thoughts on synthesis, technology, autonomous processes, alternative scoring and live performance. By working with process and interference, Wagner examines the human natural relation with technology and specifically, the way it manifests in sound. In 2012 Wagner relocated to Berlin, where he currently lives and works. Wagner’s work has been published by Metropolis [US], Digital Kranky [DE], c.sides [DE/IL], Must Die [UK], Wachsender Prozess [DE] and concrete plastic [UK]. Among others, his work has been presented at STEIM, UDK, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Rotterdam International Film Festival and TU Berlin.

Richard Scott is a free improvising sound artist and electroacoustic composer, working with electronics including modular synthesizers and controllers such as the Buchla Thunder and Lightning and his own self-designed WiGi infrared controller developed at STEIM. He has been composing and performing for over 25 years, recently working with Evan Parker, Jon Rose, Richard Barrett, Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Shelley Hirsch, Ute Wasserman, Michael Vorfeld, Frank Gratkowski and his own Lightning Ensemble. He studied free improvisation in the 1980s with John Stevens, saxophone with Elton Dean and Steve Lacy, and electroacoustic composition with David Berezan and Ricardo Climent. He has released many albums, for example with Grutronic and Evan Parker for PSI records, The Magnificence of Stereo (sruti BOX) and has a solo double modular synthesizer LP, Several Circles, and an album with Sidsel Endreson, Debris in Lower Earth Orbit, released on CUSP Editions in 2016.
