Jon Wesseltoft is a Norwegian electronics improviser, composer and sound artist living in Oslo, Norway.  Wesseltoft has been active for over 20 years within sound-art, noise, long-form, metal and various forms of improvised music. He is a part of Thorns, The Death Trip, Maranata and Tongues Of Mount Meru. Besides performing as a solo artist, he has in various forms collaborated among others with Okkyung Lee, Lasse Marhaug, Sayaka Himeno( Nissenenmondai), Jooklo Duo, Anla Courtis, Balazs Pandi, C.Spencer Yeh and Maja Ratkje. He has a strong interest in long form sounds and it's potential with spatiality, acoustics and psychoacoustics. With this he has worked both as a solo performer but also as conceptualist for groups ranging from quartets to large scale ensembles. His music is often dense with information and can be seen upon as a cluster of a high number of sources and references. For the performance at Spektrum he will perform on computer, electronics and tape.
