'Anthropocene Expanded’ by Federico Foderaro
Human kind shaped the atmosphere and the surface of planet Earth with tools and machines. The audio visual performance goes through different states of building and destruction, immersing the spectator in a high intensity environment where fractures and telluric shocks develop a time-based composition.

Federico Foderaro is an audio-visual Berlin based artist, media technologist and Max/MSP teacher. During his studies he started developing a fascination for audiovisual art and the link between art and technology, building his own aesthetic. In his works and performances he gives algorithmic rules as a foundation on which to build a formal structure for the piece. He teaches Max/MSP software in workshops, private lessons and university courses, running at the same time an online video teaching activity. He collaborates with various artists and media creators offering technical and artistic support. http://www.federicofoderaro.com/

'Closer' by RASK collective
'Closer' explores how we can expand a dancer’s potential for expression by extending the medium to be not only visual and physical, but auditory. With the piece, we seek to bring the audience to the intimate details of a performance by making the normally inaudible sounds of the body, such as the movement of muscles and tendons, a part of the experience. By using contact microphones and a custom made glove composed of various types of sensors the dancer is put in full control, making it a complete sound generative and visual experience.

RASK’s mission is to explore the intersections of art forms and contribute to the process of bridging them together through the application of technology. The group is a collaboration project of young Icelandic artists with varying artistic and technical backgrounds. Closer is created by Ása Bríet Brattaberg, Jökull Máni Reynisson, Sara Margrét Ragnarsdóttir and Sól EY (Sóley Sigurjónsdóttir). http://www.facebook.com/raskcollective
