Real-time applications of machine learning

This workshop by Gene Kogan will introduce machine learning tools which can be used in real-time applications like interactive installation and live performance. These new methods from computer vision and machine listening can be deployed to facilitate the parsing, visualization, and fast retrieval of relevant media, from images to sounds to text. The workshop will include a high-level introduction to the theory of these methods, and distribute open-source applications for use on your own media collections.
