Everybody is welcome to join our summer potluck ! Bring something to eat plus your own plate, knives & forks (there is no kitchen at spektrum), no matter what you bring a salad or only some crackers or nothing - you are welcome anyway...

In this „potluck-atmosphere“ we want to talk about your and our new ideas for smell-projects and how we can make our „dreams“ real. We want to build up several small groups for several topics - these goups will dive into their topic and research for solutions.

Some of the possible topics could be:
• Capture/store smells - what methods or ways are possible? / How does a destillery in this case work?
• Scratch fragrances - how does it work and where can we produce „smelling flyers“ ?
• Gender stereotypes in the cosmetic industry, does it makes sense to have male-/female-products (perfume, shampoo & shower gel) ?
• Let´s compose a perfume - how does this work?
• Relationship between sound & smell, how does smell influence the perception of audio or how does audio influence the perception of smell?
• What could be the next smell lab exhibition?

Thematic fields and disciplines that are touched by smell are for instance:
perception, memory, psychology, culture, art, chemistry, biology, architcture, media, curating an exhibition, preparing workshops and lectures, developing smell-products or smell games...

We will meet from 19:30 till 22:00, please be on time if possible.
