This meet-up we will watch a movie and after - some guys from last meet-up will check their created fragrances how the smell has changed after 4 weeks... and of course they can take away their „parfume“!
About the movie:
"Collector is a film by the art group “Where Dogs Run” founded in Jekaterinburg [russian: Екатеринбу́рг], that documents the collective’s journey in two industrial towns in the Urals.
Collector – a man with an electromechanical street-organ. He walks out to the streets of any city, to any place and just rotates the handle of his instrument. Yet, instead of the repetitious reproduction of the pre-inscribed melodies the street- organ processes into sound the very structure of the atmosphere of a particular site – be it a street, a waste lot, a museum, a factory, or a submarine.
This street-organ collects and archives smells and the instruments makes sounds out of them.
The film is about 40 minutes long.
