Mirko Petrovich // NONLINEAR (Random Walk)
Audiovisual improvisation driven by feedback, feedforward and open-loop systems. The "NONLINEAR" performance is an attempt to tame a chaotic system based in custom analog/digital hardware, code and video synthesis to attain a symbiotic behaviour between gesture, image and sound.

MTV
The performance is an a/v show where the three elements of the group play with a system of gears which allows them to modulate the sound and the video output directly. The result is a six-hand jam session where every noise and every image is being stretched through a combination of digital and analogue filters.

Event presented by Scope - curated by AudeRrose / Part of the transmediale/CTM Vorspiel 2016 festival

Mirko Petrovich - born in Osorno, Chile. Programming computer music systems since 1995. Interactive designer for dance, theater (Teatrocinema), installations (Expo Shanghai 2010) and educational software (PicaLab). Currently based in Berlin.

MTV is an international super group composed by Marco, Vanta and Toby. The three share passion for visuals and circuit music. Marco is more into graphics, Vanta is a creative coder and Toby is a gear expert. Although their individual skills they like to swap roles an learn one from the other, this allows them to learn and to create a performance that evolves both while they play and from one gig to the next one.
