For this third part in the series on Spatial Audio in Max/MSP, we will come together and build an interactive patch in Max that will focus on creative applications of Spatial Audio, rather than the fundamentals of Spatial Audio technology/implementation. I will provide to you a set of building blocks before we start, with which you can easily start to integrate Spatial Audio into existing patches, or introduce the concepts into other projects (film, installations, music, etc.).

We will work together to build a 3D arpeggiator, using building blocks that can be extended to create other spatial patches, for example: a 3D panner using an XY(Z?) grid, a stereo spread processor with elevation (for widening, and 'heightening' your mix).

Experience with Max/MSP is recommended but not essential. I will provide a finished version of the working patch and a break down of the sub patches we will use throughout the workshop.
