Spring Spiral: Robert B. Lisek / Kasia Justka / Bastiaan Maris

The project is a real time happening, concert, performance non-determined in its form and details. As its source, the work uses different types of energies, data, sounds and videos, precisely those that are found and transformed in the air in the surrounding space. Performers and artists are creating vibrating pulsating space by using motors, emitters, amplifiers, sound synthesizers, transmitters, generators, plasma and weapons. The event is focus on the process of collaboration itself and on participation in the environment, in which different sources and materials are transformed in real time.

Bastiaan Maris has been fascinated with the transformation of various forms of energy and their manifestation since his childhood. His interest in machines, sound and violent chemical processes, has led to an ongoing research in chemo-acoustic and electro-mechanic phenomena and the development of musical instruments based upon this principle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpPS4GMV_wY
