Solo sets and some duo improvisation sets by three renowned performers in Berlin. They present weird perspectives on physicality, DIY, improvisation, live processing, programing, even electronic philosophy without electronics.
Tomomi Adachi
Tomomi Adachi is a performer/composer, sound poet, instrument builder and visual artist. Known for his versatile style, he has performed his own voice and electronics pieces, sound poetry, improvised and contemporary music, also presented site-specific compositions, compositions for classical ensembles, choir pieces for untrained musicians in all over the world including Tate Modern, Maerzmusik, Centre Pompidou, Poesiefestival Berlin and Walker Art Center. He has been working with a wide range of materials; self-made physical interfaces and instruments, brainwave, artificial satellite, twitter texts and even paranormal phenomenas. He was a guest of the Artists-in-Berlin Program of the DAAD for 2012.
Marcello Lussana
Marcello Lussana is a composer, a software engineer and free thinker specialized in interactive systems. Focal point of his work is the interaction between music and human movement: he produces for audio-visual Performances, Dance, Theater and Live Electronics and is based in Berlin.
Mario de Vega
Through site-specific interventions, sound, sculpture, actions and publications in diverse formats, his research explores the value of failure, vulnerability and simulation. His work has been exhibited in different contexts throughout Mexico, North America, South Africa, India, Russia, Japan and around Europe. He lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City.
