:::::: WORKSHOP ::::::

Develop your design, animation and visual effects skills with Maxon Cinema 4D. This course is created for beginners who want to get familiar with Maxon Cinema 4D.

In this 4-day long in-depth introductional workshop, we will demonstrate different workflows and teach about the many features of Cinema 4D using a practical approach with theoretical backgrounds. Participants will learn different techniques from 3D animation, projection mapping, virtual reality, real time processing techniques, as well as having the opportunity to create their own animation projects.

Cinema 4D is a cross-platform, general-purpose 3D software used for modeling, texturing, and animating objects, graphics, and characters. A vital tool for visual artists, designers and animators. This high-end computer graphics application grew to be one of the most popular tools used by industry professionals for film, broadcast and games.

Previous 3D experience is helpful but not required.

{ Schedule }

{ Day 1 } Cinema 4D layout and navigation, modeling tools, texturing basics & the shader systems, lighting & environments.

{ Day 2 } Rendering settings principles, animation principles,

Cinema 4D MoGraph system.

{ Day 3 } Dynamic simulations, introduction to cinema 4D particle systems.

{ Day 4 } Multi-pass and compositing principles, Q&A, presentation of workshop animation projects.

{ Requirements }

Please bring your headphones, mouse and a laptop (see details below) with Maxon Cinema 4D installed. A trial version is available on maxon.net

- Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or higher on Intel or AMD 64-bit CPU with SSE3 support.

- macOS 10.11.6 or 10.12.4+ with 64-bit CPU running on Intel-based Apple Macintosh, 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended), OpenGL graphics card supporting OpenGL 4.1 (dedicated GPU recommended).

- The GPU renderer requires an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card on Windows or AMD on macOS which supports OpenCL 1.2 or higher. We recommend at least 4 GB VRAM for GPU rendering.
