Whether is it distorted kicks, hi hat, bongo or crazy DnB generative drum sequencing... come and tell us about it!

The Berlin Modular Crew is more than excited to host the first edition of the “whats the patch” workshops. The concept: People bring their modular system and spend 20 minutes demonstrating and explaining how the patch works. The remaining 10 minutes are used to answer questions from the audience.

Plans change but some backup plans are a guarenteed fail-safe so we're hosting the informal Stammtisch as an official Berlin Modular event this time around :-) We'll meet in the front room of the Spektrum where there'll be plenty of room to make a giant chat circle or we can split up into smaller groups as the evening progresses to focus on a DIY prototype or discuss the merits of Banana jacks and...

Berlin Modular presents an evening of live performances and a -get together and connect- for future collaborations and projects with the focus on creating a more gender-equal scene. Everyone is welcome!

Berlin Modular aims to bring the modular synthesizer, the experience of building one, and it's luscious sounds to all people and aliens alike.

Bring any kit you want to build - we provide the tools and some hints.

Worskhop time!

To celebrate the beginning of the year 2018, we are very pleased to have straight from Belgium Shakmat Modular! He will be bringing some of his awesome sequencing and clocking modules. 

Dig deep down in your drawer, reach to the far end, there in the darkest corner it lies, the one module you thought would never work… thought.

Grab it, bring it over and fix it with us. We will provide tools, expertise and give basic tips on troubleshooting.

Todd Barton is a composer, sound designer, multimedia performer, and analog synthesist specializing in Buchla, Serge and Hordijk modular systems.

We present a day of workshops, lectures, presentations and performances from our communities to raise funds for the final work on the new makerlab at Spektrum. The makerlab will enhance the creative possibilities of the many Spektrum communities and enable them to start creating their own artworks for exhibiting. Come along, support and let us co-create our way to the future!

The amazing buddha like figure Snazzman *aka Dan Snazelle) of SNAZZY FX will be in our lovely #berlin at the equally love inducing Spektrum live in person to lead the workshop building some of his newer illustrioously awesome eurorack modules.
