Community meeting of the movLab - a place for researching ways to digitize motion and the human body and to make the data accessible for further use in VR, gaming, stage performance or art. 

This is going to be the first meetup of the group. There are going to be pre-configured Raspberry's and some projectors for open experimentation. Some new features will be introduced and discussed. Bring your own Raspberry Pi's, ideas and projects. We will try to help each other to set things up, recommend and provide solutions.

Margaret Tait was one of Britain's most unique and individual artist filmmakers. Over the course of 46 years she produced over 30 films including one feature, and published three books of poetry and two volumes of short stories, while living between Orkney and Edinburgh.

Another excellent double bill at Digital in Berlin’s monthly event in SPEKTRUM this October with Erik Knive Skodvin aka Svarte Greiner and Maxwell August Croy both delivering their exquisite styles of electro-acoustic treated sounds.

The 13th October Alphawave #11 brings back in times with ancient, ancestral ideas and sound, in a balm of modernity. Reference of rites of collective joy of ancient Greece through a balm of reality for PNYX and a surprising revisitation of Europe’s rare drone instrument, the hurdy-gurdy, by Caroline Tallone, revisited with synth-sound artist Lan Cao.

We will start the session with a sound / scent experiment. How does sound affect our olfactory perception? Are different sounds changing how do we perceive a scent? The students that followed an olfactory project week course will show us what have they been up to and we will discus ideas and projects together.
